Video Footage of Pressure Suit Immersion Test

Immersion test of Project Alpha pressure suit. Raw video shot by the FRANK film team of Seattle, Washington (http://sessions.frankfrankfrank.com/). The immersion test, in December 2012, proved the suit was not leaking significantly and supported my life, strapped to the flying seat under 3m of water, for about seven minutes. A great day! Thanks to divers Ross Smith and Jeff Groth, President of the Oregon SCUBA Club, John Haslett for suiting me up, the FRANK film team, Karen Ulbright (support diver) and my big brother Mark Smith, for use of his pool and hot pizzas! A great day! A modified version of this suit is being built for integration with Copenhagen Suborbitals Tycho Deep Space II capsule, with testing and integration scheduled for mid-August 2013.
